Abstract EN

The research deals with the nature and concept of the symbol and the specificity of its creation and the transformations of theatrical director.

therefore, the title is written in the following form (the symbol transformations according to the vision of the director in the Iraqi theater performances), and it is important to show the concerns of the philosophical and aesthetic aesthetic artistic output with the symbol and its establishment and then its interpretation of open meanings.

the goal is to reveal the work with the symbols by the director, and this is illustrated by the analysis of the research sample play (Othello in the kitchen) of the director (Sami Abdel Hamid), which was presented on the theaters of the capital Baghdad.

the research included the theoretical framework, which was divided into two parts: the first is concerned with the concept of vision, and the second : about the transformation of the symbol in the theater.

the research came out with (7) indicators that are the most important theoretical framework.

and then separated the research procedures and sample analysis to reach the most important results that coincided with the problem and the objective of the research.

including: the content of the form (symbol) from the reality and reality of social agreed to the mere forms (symbols) may be random or geometrical regular new content and according to the vision of graduation : the transformation also contributed to show the ability of the director and his consciousness and culture to convert the contents of forms and the extraction of new formulations in the content and semantics entered theatrical work.

and then came the conclusions and the most important : there is no symbolic offer is complete, but there are symbolic texts : and also a confusion between the doctrines is clear in the performances of the Iraqi theater.
