Kinder Transport« is the German term for the mission that British refugee organizations started in December 1938 and ended in September, 1939.

The main focus of this paper is to highlight the British efforts in rescuing the Jewish and non-Aryan Christian children who were threatened by Germany after Hitler's rise to power.

The paper brings to light the efforts of the British refugee organizations to transport children from Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia into Britain.

The British government agreed to allow the entrance of unlimited number of Jewish children unaccompanied by their parents; with the condition that they stay in England only temporarily until they could find a permanent residence.
