Abstract EN

The present research aims to detect the differences between the average scores of students with hearing disabilities (males - females) on the scale of behavioral problems (aggression - withdrawal - excessive activity).

As well as the differences according to the number of hours of use (simple - medium - excessive).

And the possibility of predicting the degrees of behavioral problems (aggression - withdrawal - excessive activity) through the number of hours of use of smart devices and gender in students with hearing disabilities.

The sample included (55) of the mothers with children with hearing impaired children aged (7-11) years of users of smart devices at AlAmal (Hope) School, Beni Suef.The descriptive method was used to monitor the actual condition and the behavioral problems scale was applied (done by the researcher).

The findings resulted in differences between the average scores of students with hearing disabilities (males - females) on the behavioral problems scale in favor of females as well as differences according to the number of hours of use was in favor of withdrawal behavior according to the level of use (excessive) and the possibility of the contribution of the number of hours of use in the prediction of withdrawal behavior only and gender in the prediction of behavioral problems (aggression - withdrawal - excessive activity).

The study recommended the need to educate mothers to reduce or limit the number of hours used for smart devices.
