Abstract EN

This study aims at investigating the effect of using the Internet on classroom students’ achievement in Islamic Education Course at Al al- Bayt University, as the Islamic Education Curriculum was developed in accordance with the Internet.

The sample of the study consisted of 112 male and female students who were divided into two groups an: experimental group which used the Internet and a control group which used the normal method.

To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher built an instructional program and an achievement multiple– choice test which consisted of 30 Items.

The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences due to the method of teaching in favor of the experimental group over the control group.

The results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the means of students' achievement in favor of students with high scores over students with low scores.

Finally, the results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences due to the interaction between the teaching method and students' achievement.

In light of the study results, further studies are recommended to be conducted to ensure the validity and stability of the results.
