Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the degree of practicing the transformational leadership by the school female leaders at Al-Mokhawah Province and their relation to the participation of female teachers in decision-making from the point of view of the female teachers.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the correlative descriptive approach was used.

The data collection tool was a questionnaire consisting of (56) items divided into two pivots: The pivot of the degree of practicing transformational leadership with (29) items distributed across four areas (Ideal Effect, Intellectual Stimulation, Motivation, Individual Legalization) and the pivot of the degree of the participation of female teachers in decision-making with (27) phrases distributed across four areas (Student Affairs, Teachers Affairs, Curriculum, Local Community).

The questionnaire was applied with a random stratified sample chosen from the study community of (1988) female teachers.

The study showed the following findings: the degree of practicing the transformational leadership by the school female leaders at Al-Mokhawah Province was at a medium degree in all areas.

The degree of the participation of the female teachers in the decision-making at the schools of Al-Mokhawah Province was at a medium degree in all areas.

There were no statistically significant differences among the arithmetic averages of the responses of the study sample to the degree of practicing the transformational leadership by the school female leaders at Al-Mokhawah Province due to the variable of the academic qualification.

There were no differences due to the variables of (the educational stage, years of experience).

There were no statistically significant differences among the arithmetic averages of the responses of the study sample to the degree of the participation of female teachers in decision-making due to the variables of (the academic qualification, years of experience, the educational stage).

The results also showed a statistically significant positive correlation between the degree of practicing the transformational leadership and the degree of the participation of female teachers in decision-making.
