Abstract EN

The problem of the current study is crystallized in recognizing the impact of electronic games on the behavior of children in Egyptian society , through a survey of a sample of parents of children between the age group from 6 to 12 years, to reveal the impact of these games on the behavior of their children, in light of the great development witnessed by information technology, and the use of modern electronic means through the Internet networks that broadcast these games.

The phenomenon has been addressed in the light of a theoretical vision, represented in the constructivist theory, which sees the importance of socialization in influencing the behavior of the child.

The current study is part of the descriptive studies where the researcher relied on the method of social survey sample to detect the impact of electronic games on the behavior of children in the Egyptian society.

And the researcher used the questionnaire as a suitable tool for social surveys.

The results of the field study to confirm the great impact of the practice of electronic games in shaping the behavior of children.
