To identify the uses for children smart devices and their gratification, and identify the rate of use of the study sample smart devices, as well as Smart device applications favored by these children, as well as to identify the motives for use and gratifications for those children, and to identify the impact of those devices on Children have, belong to study current studies descriptive approach used media survey, and have been applied to study a sample of primary school students in (Cairo, Dakahlia) ranging in age from (6 to 12), and the study sample of 300 children.

Results: The most popular smart device is the smartphone, followed by the tablet.

The results showed that the study sample use smart device daily by 48.4% and almost two thirds of children are using those devices in the length of time ranging from less than an hour to an hour.

And The most preferred smart device apps are games apps by 74%, then drawing and design apps, then educational apps, and finally e-book apps.

And that children in middle childhood or what is called the stage of absolute imagination, which is between 8: 6 years, are the most occurring under the influence of smart devices, whether positive or negative, especially males.
