Abstract EN

Research Title "Arabic Accent and its Impact on Reciter's Selection of Quran Recitation" Research Idea: The relation between the reciter's tribe and his Quranic selections when it is optional to select one of two recitations; the first matches his tribe's accent and the other is not.

Hence, the researcher determined a reciter of an irregular recitation belonging to an Arab tribe with apparent linguist traits; Abo Abdurrahman Alsulami who belongs to Bani Sulaim tibe.

This is to identify the effect of his tribe's accent in his selections in recitations.

The researcher concluded several findings including: The researcher did not consider his tribe's accent in his selections.

This assures that reciters does not subject his recitation to the tribe's accent which proves the trend that recitation is a followed sunna received from salaf as stated by scholars.

There is effect of the reciter's accent on his selections except for those matching the sunna.

This finding participates in demolishing the suspicion of some Orientalists claiming that Quranic recitations are a form of accent variety subject to reciter's tribe and linguistic habits not revealed by Allah.
