Abstract EN

This paper, which named: situational Context and its interpretational effect, An Applied study on a narrative texts from the holy Quran & the NT, aims to examine the effectiveness of situational features, as Firth set in (1950) model, and try to discover how far that model could be Applable and help full to achieve the meaning and to get the intended Interpretation of language.

To get that goal, the paper was divided into four parts: (A) A Preface.

(B)Discuss the situational features model of Firth.

(C)Appling that model to the story of the Virgin Mary in the holy Quran and the New Testament.

(D)Showing the results and recommendations.
