Abstract EN

This research aims to identify the effect of applying the mind maps strategy in teaching social studies on the achievement of fourth-grade students in Tathleeth Governorate.

The researcher used the experimental method in which the research community consisted of all fourth grade primary students in all primary schools of the Ministry of Education in Tathleeth Governorate for the academic year 1436 AH - 1437 AH.

The study sample consisted of (22) female students.

The teacher prepared an achievement test that included (25 items) and focused on three levels: remembering, comprehension and application.

The results show that there were no differences between the two groups in remembering before the experiment, and the presence of differences in remembering between the two groups in favor of the experimental group.

There was also the absence of differences between the two groups in understanding before the experiment, and the presence of differences in the test as a whole between the two groups in favor of the experimental group.
