Abstract EN

This research aims to explore the most important contemporary scientific and technological issues that should be addressed in the science curriculum content for the third intermediate grade.

The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical approach which consists of science books for the third intermediate grade.

The researcher depends on two important tools: a list of some contemporary scientific and technological issues and the content analysis card.

The research concludes that the content of the science curriculum for the third grade of middle school does not sufficiently take into account contemporary scientific and technological issues and it does not give a positive indication for achieving the goals of scientific and technological education among students.
