Abstract EN

The study aimed to investigate the relationship between organizational support and job engagement, and to determine their effects on organizational cynicism of the administrative staff at Al-Hodeida University by using the descriptive analytical method, the questionnaire was the study tool, it included (57) items, the study sample consisted of administrative employees at Al-Hodeida University, their number reached (124), and they represent (27.4%) of the total study community.

The results of the study showed that the level of organizational support was low with an average calculation (1,96) and the level of job engagement was high with a mean (3.98), while the level of organizational cynicism was medium, with a mean of (3.28).

It also showed that there was a significant negative relationship between organizational support and organizational cynicism but there was no relationship between job engagement and organizational cynicism, where the value of the correlation coefficient between them reached (362-), and there is no correlation between job exhaustion and organizational cynicism, it was also found that there is a negative moral effect of organizational support on organizational cynicism by (13.1%).

The result also showed a significant effect by (13.7%).
