This research deals with the phenomenon of carrying the impaired verb in its various forms on the correct one according to Ibn Jinni.

He is one of the linguists who dealt with this phenomenon in his various books.

He dealt with the changes that entered the structures of impaired verbs compared to the correct, and the accuracy of his analysis and observations of what happened to the impaired verbs of change.

Moreover, he carries on some of his views regarding the origins of the expressions or their derivations or what he called the rejected principles in the light of the Semitic languages, and the reference to the close relationship between Arabic and Semitic languages
