This paper aims at clarifying the developmental role of waqf the various production tools of the elements of capital, labor, land and the element of organization.

The study included the two halves of jurisprudence to clarify the Islamic ruling in this type of endowments, and the economic division to indicate the developmental role, whether temporary or Forever.

The study concluded that the diversity of the receptive container allows for its contribution in various developmental fields in order to allow the impact on economic development in countries.
