In this article we will look for the most modern methods of evaluation process by definition with the most important characteristics with its role in solving some of the problems faced by students in academic achievement, We will discuss the most important ones of the Alternative assessment, its definition and its components with clarifying the difference between it and the traditional evaluation and finally draw the main conclusions and recommendations that benefit the University educational system.
