International fact-finding missions are formed when needed by international bodies, to achieve multiple purposes, among the most important of those purposes contribute to the protection of human rights, However, international practice has produced challenges that have often affected its performance of this role.

In this study we highlight these challenges and the possible solutions to enhance that role.
