Zuhur Wanisi represents a milestone in the Algerian creativity blog.

It is certain that her experience in writing stories is distinguished by the uniqueness and originality.

Her purpose in writing was not to show that she is a woman who writes at the time of masculinity domination.

In fact, she wrote with a nationalist conscience accompanied with an obsession of the duality of revolution and society.

Her sense of commitment and struggle, and her compassionate participation in the issues of the homeland remained tightly bound to her.

In this paper, we will try to examine her series entitled: “the extended shadows” in which we follow the traces of the Algerian man who was governed by the legacy of the revolution and the dictates of reality.

We will also see how was the storyteller able to create narrative images of this human being who took his independence from the other, and needed to be freed from some arbitrary values such as ignorance and injustice.
