The discourse analysis field works on a set of standards that are based on the discourse’s environment, process and reception, especially when finding that psychologists, linguists and sociologists who all consider the Discourse as a verbal or vocal component which results from an act and a context, as well as communication understanding and argumentation So, to shed the light on the narrative component within the novel «The White Nights», we try to apply the textual linguistics method, especially the textual consistency standards Right up to the narrative discourse and to what extend the textual analysis is compatible with the textual linguistics thought.
