This paper aims to read in the introduction to Al-Ain's dictionary of Al-Khalil and deals with two linguistic issues: benificial for modern linguistics, and the two issues were the one of the emergence of the language then the issue of linguistic levels and the difference between what Al-Khalil brought it and what modern science is looking at.
