Abstract EN

In this study,we have delt with one of the most important issues in sociology ans anthropology that is the cultural residues and their relation with underdevelopment features in the Algerian society.

Regarding to the importance of he cultural renovation in the development of the society and what we notice, as socio researchers; like the irrational behaviours and attitudes in the Algerian society-and which are completely incompatible with urban criteria and the modern community needs-This study aims at discovering the notion of these cultural residues as well as some relevant notions like the cultural renovation.

Moreover portraying some underdevelopment features shadowed under the spread cultural residues Relying on some previous studies and remarks taken by the researcher throughout his homeliness with the studying community,this study has found that many of these cultural residues at the level of family and and the school and so on...and which are considered as underdevelopment forms.The researcher has presented a list of proposals as solutions to get rid of those features.
