Symiology is a stand-alone science, and its flexibility and applicability to all artistic and literary genres may have been studied by critics and scholars alike, both Western and Arab.

In this context, our research seeks to reveal the truth of interest in the term Alchemist in Algeria, through its methods and employment on both sides: theoretical and applied.

Based on this, our research will attempt to shed light on the meaning of the term "semiotic" from the perspective of Algerian critics and scholars.

We will first turn to the understanding of the concepts related to it and then proceed to follow the fact that the term is used theoretically and applied by Algerian critics and scholars.

We conclude our research with a link containing the most important findings we have reached through this brief research.
