Abstract EN

This study examines the issue of disciplining an ill-conducting woman in Islamic sharia by beating, as one of the means used to refine the wife's manners, adjust her behaviour and to preserve the unity and cohesion of the family, through the legal rooting of this type of discipline, and the manifestation of some of the rules of this beating that should be restricted to; to face any potential objections against this topic.

We conclude by showing that’s it’s better to avoid this type of disciplining toachieve higher purposes.
