Islamic banks as part of the banking system in many countries had to keep up with the principles of work in accordance with Islamic law, where it is noteworthy that many of these banks are interested in establishing the necessary structures for the implementation of what is required by Islamic banks, as well as their capital adequacy is greater than the proportion specified.

On the other hand, Islamic banks still suffer from several problems and shortcomings in the implementation of the decisions of Basel.

In this article, we will try to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their performance in this aspect, and thus make appropriate proposals.

The importance of this issue increases with the current financial crisis and the debate about the ability of Islamic banks to face and put forward as an alternative to existing usury banks
