Abstract EN

The argumentation is considered as one of the major achievement of the pragmatic theory, which deals with the literary discours within the language usage sphere.

Considering that the effictiveness of discours never happen thanks to its secondary senses, but by means of the possible changes ocurred on the receiver beliefs.

It is in this context, that the novel of « I love myself » of the jordanian novelist Sana Shalan, impelled to change the mindets, by defending the rights of living and loving.

Although this novel belongs to the science fiction literature, it is built on argumentative model, by addressing minds and feelings in a style different from the traditional arabic narrative one, where the imagination and the language play the most important role
