This article examines the authoritarian other in the Arab feminist short story.

This story is traced back to the stories of literature writer Ghada al-Samman, the latter who broke the silence and liberated the word, and engaged in subjects that were exclusive to men.

From male authority (customs and traditions, political power, colonial power) to women as marginal marginal beings.

The writer not only addressed women's suffering but also exposed this abusive practice to men for their strong belief in gender equality.
