This article is shedding light on the problematic of translating historical texts from English into Arabic, by studying Dr.

Abou El Kacem Saadallah, as a translator.

The subject matter of the paper is about a reading on two of his own translations entitled "Llife of Abdel kader" originally written by Charles Henry Churchill and "The Barbary Coast" written by John Wolf to reveal his own ways in translating the historical texts.

The paper concluded that Saadallah adopted a unique strategy in translation.

Besides being a translator, he plays as both a historian and an investigator who tried to correct the historical events related to Algeria.
