Abstract EN

The modern terminology is one among the cognitive references that contributed to the formulation of grammar thought of Ibn al-Anbari.

For this reason, this study is conducted to show the reference and the way it is used in the Ibn Al-Anbari's grammar lesson in his classifications.

To clarify this objective, this study is divided into two sections.

The first section tackles the modern terms which are given definitions by Ibn Al-Anbari, whereas in the second section involves the modern terms which are not assigned definitions by Ibn Al-Anbari.

It seems that there is rapprochement between Ibn Al-Anbari' terms and those of modern scientists in terms of the expression and the method though the two corpora differ, for example the term"Frequency " the in which Ibn al-Anbari emulates the modernizers in terms of definition and conditions which must be in availabe in the teller's language.
