Abstract EN

In this research, we tried to define both the science of terminology and linguistics, and the relationship between them.

We have also given a critical reading in some Arabic dictionaries, by highlighting the features of the terminology chaos that still hinder the progress of linguistics in the Arab countries.

This research is based on several questions such as: What is the relationship between linguistics and terminology science ? Where is the importance of the science of term in the progress of the Arabic language lesson, and its transition from the chaos to the unity of terminology ? How do dictionaries contribute to standardization of terminology ?
