Abstract EN
This study consists in analyzing the importance of the exchange rate in the determination of the competitiveness in case two countries namely, Malaysia and Turkey, also tries to empirically study the impact of the variations of the exchange rate on the GDP by living as a partial indicator of the competitiveness of the economy of these countries in the short and long term, For this purpose, we use the ARDL model and analyzing the results to demonstrate the impact of the exchange rate on the competitiveness.
Long-term results indicate a favorable correlation for the Malaysian and Turkish economy where the change in the exchange rate has positive long-term effects on competitiveness during the estimation period.

Cette étude consiste à analyser l'importance du taux de change dans la détermination de la compétitivité en cas deux pays à savoir, la Malaisie et la Turquie, tente également d'étudier empiriquement l'impact des variations du taux de change sur le PIB par habitant en tant qu'indicateur partiel de la compétitivité de l'économie de ces pays à court et à long terme, A cet effet, nous utilisons le modèle ARDL et en analysant les résultats afin de démontrer l'impact du taux de change sur la compétitivité.
Les résultats à long terme indiquent une corrélation favorable pour l'économie Malaisienne et de la Turquie ou la variation du taux de change a des effets positifs dans le long terme sur la compétitivité au cours de la période d'estimation.
