HVDC auxiliary emergency control can improve the transient stability of the AC/DC interconnected power grid.
A coordination and optimization strategy of multi-infeed HVDC auxiliary power/frequency combination control is proposed in this paper.
According to tie-line faults and regional internal faults, the combined controller is coordinated and optimized by multi-infeed effective short circuit ratio proportion coefficient (MESCR-PC) and multi-infeed power support factor proportion coefficient (MPSF-PC).
Finally, the multi-infeed HVDC transmission system is built on the PSCAD simulation platform.
The power grid voltage, frequency and generator power angle are took as the control objectives, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation results.
