Abstract EN

There are few studies based on Algerian women during the colonial period, especially their economic role at the level of the family and tribe.

Then, came the idea of the topic, from this, our study aimed to clarify the reality of the Algerian women and their role with the men so as to earn a living, and reduce household expenses, and also to explain the role of the colonial authorities in investing their efforts to achieve their objectives in this aspect.

Perhaps the ultimate objective is to link Algerian women to the capitalist economic project by the capitalists in some industries among them textiles.
