Abstract EN

Decades after the French colonization, Algeria knows a period of stagnation, intellectual inertia and cultural decline as a result of the factors of the colonial domination which relate culture, education and religion with the French administration, this continued until the early of the 20 th century with the emergence of an Algerian cultured elite specially Man from organization of Algerian Muslims scholars, who worked to promote the Algerian society in all fields, specially the field of reform.

Chick Abd Alhamid Ben Badis was The most prominent, He was scholar, reformer and Imam.

In addition to this, he devoted his efforts, thought and knowledge to serve religion and his homeland.

In this article, I deal by study and analyse the big lines and lights from his life and his knowledge of his reformation side where he was emerged with a number of reformers such as ; el-Ibrahimi, et- Bessi, Elmili, el-Okbi and some others.
