Abstract EN

This study aims at determining the effectiveness of a proposed Environmental camp program in the development of environmental responsible behavior among (30) participants from the first summer camp in Mukalla.

Besides, the study seeks to find out the extent to which the program effectiveness differs in improving these environmental responsible behavior.

The program included different activities, which were carried out in coordination with (alawn), Non-governmental organizations in the region of the study in Mukalla in order to give the participants the positions of integrated educational concepts and environmental issues (cognitive Workshop and Workshop expressive, arts workshop and recycling), in addition to environmental events and activities.

For this purpose, a scale of environmental Responsible Behavior consisted of 30 items was used.

The scale items were distributed into five dimensions.

The scale was applied on the sample of the study.

The collected data were fed in to the computer and analyzed using the SPSS program.

The study has revealed the following major findings: -The pretest revealed that the sample of the study had a low level of environmental Responsible Behavior -The environmental program was effective in improving the environmental Responsible Behavior of the subjects, with a high statistical significance (p<0.05 -) .

Finally, in light of the study findings, a number of related recommendations were suggested.
