Are Sovereignty and tolerance compatible in the Leviathan Stat of Hobbes? It is a question that is open to several interpretations.

One of the currents of thought thinks the impossibility of reconciling them since they are not belong to the same register.

One is religious and the other is keeping reason as capable of self-regulation without the help of god.

In this case, community life has become impossible.

Each person cannot come to live in peace.

Hobbes tries in his way to deal with the theological-political question because he is interested in his time.

On its part, the Leviathan State does not deny the possibility of reconciling between sovereignty and tolerance.

What are his arguments then?

Souveraineté et tolérance sont elles compatibles chez Thomas Hobbes ? est une question qui est ouverte à plusieurs interprétations.

L’un des courants de pensée pense l’impossibilité de les réconcilier puisqu’elles ne font pas partie d’un même registre.

L’un est d’ordre religieux et l’autre est maintient la raison comme capable de s’auto régenter sans l’aide du Ciel.

Devant ce vrai problème, la vie communautaire est devenue impossible.

C’est dans ce sens que chaque personne ne peut pas arriver à vivre en toute sécurité.

Hobbes, est intéressé par son époque, il essaye de sa manière de traiter la question théologico-politique.

De sa part, l’Etat Léviathan ne nie pas la possibilité de réconcilier souveraineté de l’Etat et la tolérance.
