Abstract EN

This study aims to identify common synaptic errors in oral interpretation from Persian to Arabic in media.

The sample includes 60 minutes audio-visual materials selected randomly out of 512 minutes intervlew and news reports in political and military issues.

These materials are translated by six simultaneous translators in 39 files from Persian to Arabic in Alalam News Network.

The results derived from descriptive and statistical analysis show that the most common type of syntactical errors in oral translation from Persian to Arabic include Irab conformity error, error in the meaning of letters, addition errors, error in using oronouns respectively.

Moreover this study suggested that errors in oral interpretation are so common that they seem to be part of the common language of the media.

The most important of which is the provision of the right to delay, the lack of use of the instruments of affirmation, the reduction of the use of the absolute effect, the separation between the additive and the addition to the intervals, the use of the words «existing» and «be» instead of semisentence, certain certainty before, «Done» with the source instead of doing the .unknown
