Abstract EN

Oil is considered the first economic resource in the Republic of Yemen.

It is the source that the government depends on to get revenues and financial resources in the implementation of all activities, programs and the development plans.

Consequently, the state gives great importance to the production and the operations of oil exploration in the country .

Hudhramout Governorate is considered the inspiring center of the main oil production at the present time .

Moreover the potential resources makes it the reliable forefront in the future in achieving new oil discoveries .

This research aims at displaying a comprehensive survey of the potential of existing and potential capabilities of oil production in the province of Hudhramout .

As part of research method, the study discussed the following topics: • A display of geological and petroleum configuration image potential of current and future sedimentary basins in Hudhramout governorate .

• A spatial distribution of oil production in Hudhramout • The spatial distribution of oil and exploratory sectors in Hudhramout • The share of the state and the state's partners of oil production in Hudhramout governorate.

• The quantity and value of the crude oil exported abroad for the benefit of the state from the productive sectors of Hudhramout governorate.
