Abstract EN

Oral culture is based on imitating the model, exalting its artistic value and then attempting to emulate it consciously or unconsciously, as it is the general artistic templates, as opposed to the writing in which the artistic subjectivity that attempts to evade pre-established standards and templates emerges based on taking a specific literary style as a model.

Oralism may emerge into an anthropological-oriented theory in its approach and in its follow-up to patterns of thinking in the implicit formats of aesthetic, critical and theoretical discourse.

We are in this research paper trying to take from the visions of this theory a reference to read some of Mustafa Nassef’s thoughts in his readings and reflections on some ancient Arab prose works, which was included in his book entitled “Dialogues with Arabic Prose,” noting that he did not intend in any place of the book to Taking this theory as a method in his readings and dialogues.

However, by following our ideas in his mentioned book, we found that it is possible to base them theoretically and to give more clarification to them, by referring to the oral theory, which we also find appear in Adonis' readings and his theories in Arab modernity, meaning that we will read his conversations informed of the theory of oralism.
