Abstract EN

Modern scholars used many terms to show the position of the narrators of Hadeeth (Prophetic sayings) according to their accuracy, and proficiency.

These terms are considered as indicators, which indicate the acceptance or refusal of the narrator's hadeeth.

This study investigates one of these terms or titles, which is the term "yathbige." The researcher explained the meaning of this term, the names of the narrators given this term and the critics' views on them.

The researcher also showed whether this term was given to these narrators to praise or dispraise them.
