The role of Egyptian electronic newspapers in educating the public about the societal risks of the corona pandemic.

(Empirical Study

New media helped break the distance and flow of information and news barriers.

Especially in light of an accelerating reality in which everyone is constantly searching for information.

In view of the word's exposure to a great danger facing human societies, which is the spread of the new corona virus, which has created complex difficulties and cries, which still have devastating effects and dangerous repercussions on human life and civilization.

As a result, the public turned to new media, including electronic newspaper websites, to obtain information about this crisis.

The importance of what was provided by newspaper websites in Egypt about the pandemic and its relationship to the public's sense of societal danger was highlighted.

The study aimed to identify the level of public awareness of the role of Egyptian newspaper sites in warning about the dangers of the emerging corona virus, to uncover the motives of respondent's exposure to these sites, and to measure the size of their perception of the risks of the virus.

The importance of the current study coincides with the global concern to reduce the risks of the virus and the case to guard against it and guard against infection in light of the expansion of its spread.

The study was applied to 450 individuals from different age stages and social and cultural levels to measure the size and drivers of exposure to newspapers sites (Al- Ihram, Al - Akbar, Al – Yom Al-Seabee, and Masaryk.

) And the public's perception of the role of these sites in raising awareness of the societal risks of the virus.

The researcher used the survey approach as the appropriate approach for this study.

Using the investigation tool, we can collect data on the case.

The results showed that 87% of the respondents depend on the study newspaper, websites to obtain information about the emerging corona virus.

Of them, 16.48% are highly dependent on study newspapers for obtaining information, and they acknowledge their role in warning them about the dangers of the virus.

And.25.14% of the average exposures depend on the study newspaper sites irregularly, and 58.38% of the low level of dependence on these sites.

The results also indicated that the degree of the respondents, knowledge of the news and risks of the emerging corona virus increases with their exposure to study newspaper sites as a source of information.
