The Egyptian newspapers' treatment for the political violence issue in the aftermath of the June 30 revolution and the trends of university youth toward it

Monitoring the issue of political violence in the newspapers under study, and the trends and the trends of university youth toward it
Study objectives:
1- Knowing the form of quantitative and qualitative journalistic treatment of the issue of political violence in Egypt after the June 30 Revolution.

2- Monitoring most indicators of political violence in Egypt, which were dealt with in the study newspapers.

3- Knowing about the types of political violence issues in Egypt as monitored by the study newspapers.

4- Knowing the youth attitudes towards the issue of political violence.

The study methodology: The study uses the media survey methodology.

The study sample:
-The sample of newspapers was represented in the issues published by Al-Gomhoria newspaper, Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper and Al-Wafd newspaper during the period from 1/8/2013 to 1/8/2014
- The field sample: 400 individuals from university youth at Cairo University and Kafr El Sheikh University were represented.

Study tools: consisted of a content analysis form and a questionnaire form.

The most important results:
1- The percentage of popular violence issues ranked first in the three newspapers, but at a different rate, with a total of 82.45% of the total political violence cases presented by the three newspapers, while official violence ranked second with a total rate of 17.55% .

In the first place in the three sub-sectors, with a total rate of 57.62%
2- It was evident that there were statistically significant differences between the variables (university type, gender, residence, economic level), and the attitudes of university youth towards the issue of political violence.

It was also evident that there was an average direct relationship between reading study newspapers and youth attitudes towards the issue of political violence.
