Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the relationship between the exposure of university students to the mechanisms of fourth generation wars on news satellite television websites and their level of awareness of their risks to Egyptian national security.

The sample of the study was (300) respondents, among public and private university students, including males and females.

To achieve the goal of the descriptive study, measures were built, and statistical treatments were performed.

The majority of university students showed keenness on exposure to news content about the mechanisms of fourth-generation wars on satellite news sites at a high level.

This is to see various perspectives on events related to those wars, to follow up on events related to
those wars and form opinions about them, follow political analyzes and learn about different opinions, and to gain information suitable for discussion about events related to these wars, and to learn how the state deals with events related to those wars
University students have realized the potential dangers of the mechanisms of fourth generation wars in Egypt on national security represented by the spread of chaos by creating opportunities for rivalry between countries in the region, and transmitting toxins and ideas that affect the beliefs of society and affect his ideas and destabilize and encourage extremism and violence, and emphasize the deterioration of economic conditions And security to eliminate investment opportunities, and fuel sectarian, ethnic and sectarian conflicts, eliminate national identity and values of loyalty and belonging to individuals, and the emergence and spread of military
