Since the beginning of the new century, the country's authorities have embarked on comprehensive economic reforms that have changed the role of the state on the economic and social levels in the wake of severe crises resulting from the country's economy being linked to oil revenues, which has resulted in profound transformations that have affected the pattern of production relations and its institutional apparatus, particularly the public institutions and their workers.

In this work, the researcher sought to evaluate these reforms with the aim of identifying the extent of the liberal reforms in improving the performance of the economic and social policy of the country, as well as criticizing the theoretical and practical foundations upon which the reform programs were based, as we monitored the most prominent social and economic effects resulting from the dilemma of dissolving the public institution and the size of the institution Own about productive investments.

The results of the research showed that the reforms adopted by the state based on the recipe provided by international financial bodies had negative effects at all economic, financial and monetary levels; And that is still characterized by the entire social and economic construction.

It also showed that the level of economic settlement in the country and the degree of overlap between branches and economic activities are weak to the extent that liberal prescriptions have not succeeded in overcoming crises.

In addition, it resulted in the liquidation of a wide range of public institutions and the layoffs of workers of all levels of skill and professionalism; This has had serious material and social repercussions in the lives of workers and their families, and the organization has lost increasing numbers of workers who have accumulated long professional experience during their period of employment.

It also produced an opportunistic private sector engaged in consumer and marginal activities; And he is not ready to engage in productive investment, which has brought the country into a dilemma of corruption and chaos that has ended in what is known as the popular movement.
