European Orientalists have produced many works on Arab and Muslim civilization.

However, further research is needed to examine their reliability and scientific contributionThe study focused on the works of British Orientalists and scholars on Islamic literature.

The common view is that Britain was not a prominent contributor to discussions on Islamic literature, nor is British efforts compared to those of other Europeans to study the Islamic literature heritage.

From my research, it can be safely stated that British scholars made an important contribution to Islamic literature, adding considerably to our knowledge in this field.

However, the interest of the British school in these studies is recent compared with that of other European Orientalist schools
