Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the most important international and Arab conferences and legislations that have affected women's empowerment in education, and investigate the factual status of women's education in the Arab world for sustainable development in the light of international policies and conferences.

The research usedthe historical and analytical descriptive approach, to investigate the history of advocacy for the education of women in international and Arab legislation, and to study the obstacles to empowering Arab women in education and re-analyzed some previous research and studies that dealt with the same topic to help in answering the research questions.

The study concluded with a future vision to create an integrated system of legislation to continue to advocate for the education of Arab women.
