Religion and social study can never be separated neither in modern or contemporary history, simply because it is a essential pilar in both individual and social human life in general.

When we come across studying any medical history for any region, we conclud that the role of religion – common or official religion- amongst these practices, to support this idea we have followed the traces of medical practice and have taken the Kabylie region as a typical model doring the 19 the century, most of these medical practices pays a big part for religion as important element, which is a consequence of the Algerian social mod.
