Abstract EN

This study aims to show the extent of the transportation infrastructure contribution to catch foreign direct investments in the Arab countries as well as analyzing the attractiveness index of the Arab region for direct foreign investment projects, under the shortcomings of providing local finance resources, diversifying and developing economic activities in these countries in one hand the continuous increase recorded in unemployment and the inability to create new jobs in the other hand.

This study concluded the effective and the positive role that the transportation sector plays as an infrastructure in providing a suitable investment climate as well as its contribution to increasing foreign direct investment flows in the Arab region which contributes significantly to boost economic development in these countries.
