للجملة في الدراسات اللغوية القديمة و الحديثة أهمية بالغة باعتبارها موضوع النحو و باعتبارها الفضاء الذي تظهر فيه أهم خصائص اللغة هذه اللغة التي تكشف عن أسرارها انطلاقا من الجملة.
فبالجملة نتكلم و بالجملة نكتب فهي إذن: صورة الفكر اللفظية.
تعددت المنطلقات في بيان حدود مصطلح (الجملة) و كثرت تقسيماتها و لعل كثرة أنماط الجملة في اللغة العربية ترجع إلى كون التراث النحوي لا يعرض مفهوما واحدا لهذا المصطلح.
و مع ذلك ارتكز تقسيم الجملة على أساس المسند لما يحمله من دلالة ولما يؤديه من وظيفة تحدد أهمية الخبر.
و نأمل أن نوضح في سطور بحثنا أهم معايير تصنيف الجملة من حيث: * التركيب إلى: جملة اسمية و أخرى فعلية.
* طولها أو بساطتها إلى: جملة كبرى و أخرى صغرى
Abstract EN
The sentence in linguistic studies occupies a large place because it is the theme of the grammar which reflects the specificities of the language, this language which reveals its secrets by the sentence.
It is through the sentence that we speak, and we write.

So, obviously, it is the conceptual image of the word.
Hoping that we will go through our study, explain the main criteria of categorization of the sentence from the following views: - Structure: nominal sentence, and verbal sentence.
- length or simplicity: large sentence and, small sentence.
