school adjustment is considered to be the most important subject in the field of education to such an extent that schools aspire to achieve academic adjustment for students in order to achieve the expected results.

For this, the object of our study is to highlight the impact of extracurricular activities on academic adjustment for primary school students from the point of view of teachers and to know the differences between girls and boys in school.

academic adjustment and to know, also, if the nature of the extracurricular activity practiced, influences the academic adjustment according to the nature of the sex.

The nature and specificity of the study forced us to use the descriptive method.

For the approach adopted, we deliberately chose a sample of 120 teachers of different sexes which represents a sampling rate of 10%, considered very sufficient for this study and which allowed us to achieve our target.

A questionnaire pre-established by us is used as a toolOnce the results are obtained, are exposed and discussed based on studies already done on the subject.

And we came to the following conclusions: - In the opinion of teachers, extracurricular activities influence adjustment for students, and there are statistically significant differences in academic adjustment between girls and boys and this is to the benefit of girls.

-That the results of the study clearly show that there are statistically significant differences in academic adjustment between girls and boys depending on the nature of the extracurricular activities practiced.

And thus, we were able to demonstrate that artistic activities have a great influence more on fit in girls than in boys.

While sporting activities influence adjustment much more in boys than in girls.
