This study seeks to highlight the reality of the presence of Algerian natural gas in the largest international natural gas markets (European market and Asia Pacific market).

And know the future of its international competitiveness after the implementation of The Sonatrach Horizons 2030 strategy.

Among the findings of this study : the main objectives of the Sonatrach Horizon 2030 strategy are to increase the use of clean energies in generating electricity to provide natural gas for export ; with the development of unconventional gas resources.

In addition, the most important challenges facing the strategy are difficult to control the cost and environmental risks of unconventional gas.
