The researcher identified the objective of the research in the light of the fact that the garbage collectors suffer from difficulties and risks because of the nature of their hard work and their low social status, and the deterioration of their quality of life, which has affected their Psychological state of low self-esteem and dissatisfaction with life, Professional incompatibility, and negative outlook for the future, Feelings of disability and weakness due to poor professional and environmental conditions, The scales of Psychological state, quality of life, and case study, were used on a sample of 60 garbage collectors, in addition to applying a case study on (6) male and female garbage collectors.

The results showed that there is a significant positive correlation (α ≤ 0.01) between the psychological variables and the quality of life of both male and female workers in the field of collecting and sorting garbage in the study community.
